OpenSearch Plugin

Description 

OpenSearch is a description format for search plugins. It is supported by the most popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera.

The plugin adds a search box in the web browser next to the address bar. It enables to enter a search query and display the results on a new tab of the current browser window.

With respect to Sindice the plugin provides keyword search feature of the search engine.  

Installation

To start using the plugin, you can either install it directly in your browser or download the plugin xml file and install it manually.

As a result, you'll be able to use Sindice Search (text mode) directly from the browser toolbar.

There is also an opensearch plugin for sig.ma. To start using the plugin just visit the sig.ma web site.
